Craig was born in Charleroi, Pennsylvania in 1948. He served in the United States Air Force
from 1966 to 1970 in Thailand. He spent some time working in the steelmills of Pennsylvania and eventually decided to go to school. He graduated from California State College in 1982 with a
BS in Art and them from the Art Iinstitute of Pittsburgh in1984, all the time supporting himself as
a professional musician.

After graduation he went to work as a graphic designer for many Pittsburgh area businesses and has now moved on to work in illustration and design as a freelancer.

Craigs graphic work is done on a Macintosh G4 computer with Quark Xpress, Adobe Illustrator
and Photoshop while most of his illustration is done in traditional media. He works in pencil, watercolor, oils, acrylics, and anything else that will get the job done.

Craig lives in Monroeville, PA with his wife Barbara and daughter Cristina.
